v2.1 — Precision & Consistency Update

A major evolution in how Carys handles complex data. New architecture makes analysis not just faster, but more rigorous — ensuring that long, intricate reports stay consistent and accurate from the first page to the last.

Strategic Planner

Deep Analytics and Expert Analysis modes now include a dedicated planning phase. Before calculations begin, Carys investigates your data structure and establishes Query Guidelines — locked definitions for date ranges, metric calculations, and business terms — so every section of a long report uses exactly the same method from first page to last.

Double-Check Quality Review

A secondary review agent independently evaluates the output of each analytical step. If it detects a discrepancy in logic or calculations, it intervenes and requests a correction before findings are finalised. The system runs up to three review rounds per analysis, significantly increasing numerical reliability without manual verification.

Essential Insights Mode

A new mode for when you need rigorous depth on a single topic — without the broad, multi-angle scope of a full Deep Analytics report. Essential Insights retains the full analytical engine: code execution, quality review agents, and advanced visualisation. It keeps the investigation tightly focused on your specific question.

Real-Time Cost Transparency

Cost estimates now stream to your dashboard as the agent works, so you can monitor resource usage dynamically throughout a long analysis — rather than waiting for a summary at the end of a complex run.

Intelligent Mode Guidance

If you ask a question that is better suited to a different mode — for example, a deep analytical question submitted in Quick Query — Carys detects the mismatch and recommends the optimal mode. Switch with a single click and your question carries over automatically.
